Why a Pure Paws Pin Brush..... 1. Our Pins are a single molded pins with a brass center and nickel coating. The brass center adds strength and durability to the pins so that the they do not bend easily. The nickel coating works two fold: (a) the nickel coating eliminates static electricity (b) The nickel coating also allows for better heat disipation than stainless steal or brass. Ex: water relreases energy faster than oil, this is why hot frying pan oil burns worse than hot water
2. The Pins are designed so that they will not push through the pad. This unique design that has both a top and bottom stopper so that the pins are secured into place and will not tear through a common material backing that most brushes use as a sole form of support on the pins. This extra top stop adds stability to the pad and works like a shock absorber to lessen the stress on the on the pins.
3. Polished tips protect the skin from being scratched. Each individual pin is polished to gently glide through the coat, to the skin with out tearing the coat or irritating delicate skin.
4. The brush itself is light weight and managable. The lighter weight wood allows for more grooming time without fatigue. The flat handle provides the appropriate style for holding the brush. Gripping a handle adds stress to your hand and added tension to the caot when you are brushing.
